Liberty Winds: Classical Wind Quintet
Philadelphia, U.S.A.
About Liberty Winds
Liberty Winds is a classical wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn) of leading professional players from the greater Philadelphia area. The members of the group have performed with many well known ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony and Metropolitan Opera in addition to other symphonic, opera, ballet and pops orchestras. Its musicians have performed concerts in over 40 countries in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Liberty Winds' repertoire includes a wide variety of classical and popular music with over 200 pieces in its library. Unlike many classical ensembles, the group also has music by African, African-American, Arabic, Asian and Latin composers and additional selections may be added or arranged if requested.
Depending on your specific needs, Liberty Winds would be an excellent choice for:
- Elegant background music for cocktail hour, dinner, receptions or weddings
- Classical music concert events
- Charity, fundraising or outreach events in your local community
- Childrens' concerts
